My name is Eric Wilkinson. I created this blog as a creative outlet for myself as well as to serve as a resource to others.

I am currently in my first year of  the M.S./Ph.D.  program at the University of Amherst in the School of Computer Science. I work in the Laboratory of Perceptual Robotics led by Prof. Rod Grupen.  I graduated in 2010 from my undergraduate institution, Loyola University of Chicago,  where I received a Physics B.S. and a Mathematics B.S. During my undergraduate career I worked as an intern at a number of interesting places including Cornell's Wilson Synchrotron Laboratory and the W. M. Keck Center for Neurophysics at UCLA. After graduation, I worked at a software consulting firm in NYC before accepting my current position as a graduate student. My current research interests revolve around the generation of robotic motion, biological motion, reinforcement learning, and their intersection.
